After bathing in the morning, wear clean clothes and take a pledge. Facing south, perform tarpan (offering) with Kusha grass, black sesame seeds, and water, remembering the ancestors' names and gotra (gotra). This is for three generations. After feeding Brahmins, provide food for cows, crows, dogs, and ants.
